In June 2012 H2O(2)_foundation started its first water safety workshop for GA pilots. Catered towards coastal flyers, island hoppers and instructors training over open waters the course should cover basic survival after going down in the water. Supported by FAA and United States Coast Guard the first group of pilots got a taste what it means to stay afloat in cold waters and to climb into a life raft (a big thank you to Winslow Life Raft for the training raft!).
