All Shearline Boats are cold molded on the CNC Jig, and hand built by skilled carpenters. All cloth is hand laid, and West Systems Epoxy is the only system utilized during construction. The wooden core of the boat is encapsulated in epoxy and cloth, leaving no wood exposed and every surface coated. The boat is then hand sanded to its finish surface, exclusively utilizing AwlGrip paint products and topcoat.
Rigging and hardware is all placed on the boat at the direction of the owner, from the style of rod holders, to the length of the outriggers, and preference in navigation lights. The final product is a perfect Carolina Boat, built specifically for one customer, one at a time.
