A safety workshop tailored for the general aviation and certainly one of a kind. Five miles off shore of the coast of Dana Point Harbor the participants could experience real ocean conditions. A 55 foot motor yacht severed as a floating classroom.

Supported by the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Federal Aviation administration (FAA) and local authorities like Orange County Harbor Patrol (OC Sheriff) the participants were able to work with real survival gear like life raft, water dye and flares.

The site of the mocked aircraft ditching got greeted by a flyover of a USCG HH-65 Dolphin (Dauphine) helicopter.
